THE WEBSITE OF OWL SPECIALIST & WILDLIFE EDUCATOR IAN McGUIRE
North Uist - Land of Eagles, Corncrakes and Skydancers (NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL 2019)
This new talk for 2019 is another fascinating talk featuring over 100 photographs taken from over 10 years of trips to the Scottish island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. The island is a breeding ground for some of the rarest birds of prey including hen harriers, golden eagles, short-eared owls and merlins. It also one of the few places in the UK where corncrakes breed each spring.
Let me show you some of the fantastic bird life found on this island and tell you about my experiences on North Uist
